Well, we started the Crepe Paper pictures this morning after morning tea. I have finally discovered that I can't have Andrew and Rebecca working on the same thing at the same time at the same table!!! They fought over the crepe paper, had races to see who could scrunch up the most balls.... this list goes on. The racing is fine but I had to do the balls all over again as they weren't really balls. Ended up being quite stressed about it. Kelly, the 14 month old decided to be a thorn in Rebecca's side the whole time too. I guess she thought she was missing out on something. We (Rebecca and I) managed to get her bumble bee done. Once the pictures are done I'll take a pic and post it up.
Tommorow, Andrew can sit at a little table off the side with his paper and picture and Rebecca can sit at the big table; I have to supervise her with the glue. Just imagine the mess otherwise!! Andrew did manage to go to the flicks to watch Transformers....just.... He nearly missed out. We let him go with him understanding that it was only because he had the last week and a half of being so good at school. Next Tuesday I'm taking him to see Ice Age 3 however I'm not telling him. I'm feeling that the flicks bribery doesn't work; it seems to make him a little feral. Andrew has only been to the flicks not even 5 times so maybe there is too much excitement??
Here's hoping that tomorrow is a much better day. Might even grab the laptop, dog and take the kids to the park. Mmmm maybe my youngest niece might like to come too.

Oh What A Day - Andrew's Dental Appointment
Well, today was Andrew's dental appointment; one he should have had about 2 years ago!!! Doesn't time fly. A couple years ago he was racing around the concrete on one of those toddler cars and he came a gutsa face first into the concrete. After the blood and screaming stopped I was able to see the damage and saw that his 2 top front teeth were a little loose. After some rigmarole, got him to our dentist and was told that both of them were likely to be pulled out but first we'll try and save them. They ended up coming out. He STILL has the toothless gap and finally got him to the dentist; TODAY. Apparently everything is going according to plan. The new ones will be out soon, they appear on the x-ray to be perfect and he has a mouthful of perfect teeth. Much to my relief. Andrew was very good at the dentist those couple years and was very good today; I'm proud of him. The dentist wanted to get Rebecca on the chair to get her used to him, but she wouldn't have a bar of opening her mouth. I had to sit on the chair with her sitting me though.
Went shopping after that, and Andrew and Rebecca went feral. It was like Andrew may have been a little tense to start with and with the dentist over, he just went ape. Oh dear.....we aren't off to a very good start. Has to be very good at home tomorrow; it's Transformer night at the flicks. I shall start my list of things to do and hopefully it will be enough to keep him distracted???
So far my list of Things To Do:
**Make Chocolate Crackles (will Toffee flavoured Crunchy Nut Cornflakes instead of Rice Bubbles).
**Make Mini Muffins.
**Make some Phrase Books.
**Andrew likes Star Wars and has the basic lego that he likes to make ships out of. I have promised to take a group photo of all his ships that he will make.
**Make Crepe paper pictures.
That's it so far....oh and by the way, I won't be doing all this in one day. LOL!!!
Bought some Die Cuts With A View paper and a couple little paper kits today. Have some LOs in mind. Although I do have some unfinished ones that should be completed!!
Well that's it for today. I really do hope for Andrew's sake that he his good tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Some Layouts
The first LO is of Kelly when she was 8 months old last year. It was at Christmas time. Christmas Day we spend with Jason's side of the family and then Boxing Day is with my family. This has been the tradition for quite a few years now due to the different locations of the families. My Mum moved to be closer to my sister and I (plus the 5 grandchildren) but we decided to just keep going with the tradition.
The second LO is of the kids having a picnic with the dogs begging in hope for some morsels to fall on the ground or maybe the kids might give them some. I had originally intended for Andrew to do this LO of his own presentation. I had made up the embellies on the computer, printed and cut them out, printed the photo, and then finally watercoloured the background cardstock. All Andrew had to do was place them wherever he saw fit and that would be his introduction to scrapbooking. Unfortunately the 1/2 hour cartoons on the TV proved to be more enticing!! Oh well, I completed and added a few little extras. Was quite happy with the end result.
The third LO is of Rebecca on Mother's Day this year. The week before I had gone into Lifeline to buy a bag of dress-up stuff for the kids. Dinner at a friend's house inspired me to do this. She has dress-up stuff and all the kids had a ball dressing up.
I had fun with these LO's.
Another Glorious Day
Hi there,
Today is such a beautiful day. The sun is shining, it's not too hot, the kids are outside playing and DF is doing something constructive; mowing the lawn.
There are so many people out there that have blogs; so many that I decided I may as well get on the bandwagon too. So here I am playing around with it trying to make it look nice and hopefully informative. Would like to put some pics of the kids up the top in the header, find a decent photo of myself for the profile and google a nice pic to put down the bottom. Mmmmm...maybe I'm asking too much???
Unfortunately I don't always have the time to scrap however when the time is there all glues, photos, cardstock etc are out in full force. Maybe one day I'll take a pic of what my mess looks like on the dining room table!! Yeah....and I have to clean it up in time for dinner. Sometimes the kids have to eat on the edge!!! LOL!! Oh well, I'm sure they're used to it. The two girls think my mess is great as they get to see all the 'pretty's'. Andrew I'm sure must say to himself "mum's at it again". Would like to do some challenges!!! I wonder what it would be like to be a DT member?
Tomorrow is the start of the school holidays. Today I started a list of 'Things to do'. Mostly to keep Andrew from getting bored. Boredom equals naughty. He has to be good; Dad's taking him to see Transformers. Hopefully my list works. Thanks for stopping by; will keep you updated. If you like any of my projects etc, I love feedback. If you wish to criticise, please be constructive.
